The programme equips with scientific knowledge and practical skills to teach and assess Physical and Education in secondary institutions.

The Bachelor of Science in Education (Physical Education and Sports [PES]) is intended to address the demand and changing needs for teaching and managing PES in secondary schools. The programme is more relevant since the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda has made the subject compulsory in all schools.

Adequate time is devoted to practical experience and relevant in-depth theoretical knowledge required for appropriate implementation of the curriculum as wells as management of sports in secondary schools. The duration of the course is three years and the minimum entry requirements are two principal passes at A level or its equivalent.
